Property Reference number : 637301 The property is a rare find, a massive and unique maisonette in the heart of London. Its facade is reminiscent of an Edwardian mansion, with a regally-styled garden/porch staircase entrance. With a mezzanine on the second floor, currently used as a sixth bedroom, the property has an approximate gross internal area of 2669 sq ft / 248 sq m and an additional 100 sq m of beautiful, secluded garden. All the internal floors are original compositions in natural stone and solid wood. There are four bathrooms originally composed with stone and tiles finishes and all admitting natural light. The property has a fully-equipped kitchen on each floor, so it can either function as two very large self-contained flats, or as a single two-storey house. It is also large enough to accommodate a live/work configuration for several people, for example it would be perfect for musicians due to the top quality acoustics of the biggest studio/gallery with very high ceilings on the second floor, as well as a guesthouse due to the 4 very large double/studio rooms on the first floor. I was able to achieve a Super Host Badge on Airbnb. It would work perfectly for a large family, with easy conversion of part of the property to a granny flat, or for children, convenient access to Dunraven School opposite. I have personally used the upper gallery as an artist studio and it was an amazing opportunity to create my best and biggest originals. It was an also chosen for a film location, as well as a venue for hosting fine art and musical presentations for over 30 guests. There is a small cubicle situated off the gallery which currently functions as a recording studio. It is a semi-detached versatile home with a variety of opportunities for further transformations and extensions. For example the second biggest room adjacent to the gallery could be adapted into two large double bedrooms or it could even be configured into a third self-contained apartment, or the first floor could become an HMO with minimal alteration. Additionally the garden is gated with a dropped kerb, allowing it to accommodate parking if desired, and easy installation of EV charging, due to the existing outdoor power supply.
