The Barn Cottage sits in the main farm complex in the upper end of the main barn. You have your own access and can come and go as you please.
Please note that a spiral staircase accesses the bedrooms so the Barn Cottage may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility.The Barn Loftntrance to the Barn Loft is via an external wooden stairway opening into a spacious hallway.
Two doors lead from the hallway, the first is to an open plan lounge/kitchen. The lounge has a flat screen Smart TV, Bluetooth soundbar and a DVD Player. The TV unit below contains DVDs and beside is a small trunk containing various games and jigsaws. Two velux windows open to stunning views down the valley.
The little kitchen is fully equipped to include a full size electric oven with inbuilt hob. A fridge, freezer and microwave are built into the space in the hallway.
The second door leads to a double bedroom with a king size bed, chest of draws, full size wardrobe, book shelves and DAB radio. The bed is super luxurious, with an extra squishy topper, pure British wool baavet and 100% cotton linen. The bedroom velux windows have black out blinds fitted (as do the lounge velux).
Adjoining the bedroom is a compact wash room with a power-shower.

Outside, the Log Cabin has private decking with lovely views of the valley and over looks the horse school. The decking is furnished with all weather table and chairs – a great space to enjoy your meals on those sunnier days.

The Log Cabin sits at the top end of the farm complex above the horse barn. You have your own access, can park at the entrance to the log cabin and can come and go as you please.
Although the Log Cabin is all on one level there is one step into the cabin and there are raised door frames into the rooms, so unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchair users.The Oak HutOur Oak Hut has been built to superior standards; it’s cosy, light, airy and free of draughts. It has a clean, fresh comfortable feel and even though it’s ‘tiny’ it houses almost all of the mod cons!
The kitchen space has a microwave oven, kettle, toaster, single ring induction hob, small fridge and even a traditional belfast sink! (There is no conventional oven). A full set of basic kitchen equipment is provided.
The bed space boasts a full sized super luxurious double bed with squishy topper, pure British wool baavet and 100% cotton linen. Above the bed is a flat screen TV with Freeview.
The inbuilt compact shower room benefits from a generously sized walk in electric-shower.
The Oak Hut has underfloor electric heating and a small traditional wood burning stove (logs provided) for those chillier nights adding to that ‘huggee’ feeling.
Outside, the Oak Hut has a private patio with an all weather table and chairs and BBQ – a beautiful quiet space to enjoy your meals on those sunnier days and enjoy the stunning view down the valley.

Access to the Oak Hut is via a 70m gravel foot path from the parking area – the Oak Hut stands apart from the main farm buildings in an area of field fenced off from farm animals. This is your own access and you can come and go as you please.Bell TentOur Bell Tent sits in a secluded corner away from the main farm buildings within its own fenced enclosure. You have your own access and can come and go as you please.
The Bell Tent is furnished with a double bed, blanket box, two chairs and a coffee table. The double bed has a memory foam mattress with squishy topper, pure British wool baavet and 100% cotton linen. An extra heavy blanket, should you need it, is provided in the blanket box. An additional single folding bed can be added on request (for example for a child or you’re welcome to bring your own tent for your children). On the coffee table you will find maps, local books and a comprehensive information file. The bell tent is also set up with electric lighting and a spare electrical point for guest use.
In addition to the Bell Tent there is a canvas dining canopy sheltering a 2 ring table top gas stove, fridge, table and chairs. A full set of basic kitchen equipment is provided in a secure lidded plastic box. Electrical lighting is also installed under the canopy.
If you’re looking to have a camp fire to toast your marshmallows on we have provided a large fire pit with log seating. We suggest guests bring their own charcoal or fire wood for the firepit however a bucket of charcoal can be purchased on the farm if needed (5).
A heated shower room and toilet (wet room) designated for excusive use of the bell tent guests is situated on the yard in the main barn (towels are provided).
A water tap is installed at the side of the enclosure (not for drinking unless boiled). UV treated water can also be collected from the shower room or the farm’s laundry room.

Access to the Bell Tent is via a 50m track from the main parking area. Small cars/vans can drive directly to the camp site or alternatively guests can park in the main car park and walk to the camp area.
